Career Carnival

Thursday, August 23, 11am - 2pm | Student Activity Center Foodcourt

Kick off the 2018-19 school year at Career Carnival!

Hosted by the University Career Center, as part of Goldrush (formerly Week of Welcome), the Career Carnival transforms the SAC Food Court into a bustling, exciting carnival filled with food, games and prizes.

Try your hand at classic carnival games, including the Hi-Striker, Frog Launcher, and Milk Can Toss, or less traditional games like Virtual Roller Coaster, Air Racer, Futuristic Interactive Game and Fun Derby Pony Races.

In between games, snap a picture with Norm, grab some carnival food (think cotton candy and snow cones), get a face painted tattoo, or claim a t-shirt prize.

Signature Event

In the midst of the event's fun and games, students can connect with employers and campus partners, including the Offices of Volunteer Outreach, Education Abroad, and University Center for Academic Excellence, in an informal way. Fifteen employer sponsors, will be on hand to join in on the fun, and talk with students about job opportunities and provide recruiting tips.
