The Inclusivity Mixer is the premiere diversity recruiting event at UNC Charlotte. The event welcomes all applicants and employers and hopes to encourage inclusivity and diversity no matter the ethnicity, citizenship, national origin, race, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, disability, socio-economic status, special abilities, political and social philosophy, and religion.

The University Career Center in partnership with the Multicultural Resource Center brings to you the annual Inclusivity Mixer. This event provides students and alumni with an excellent opportunity for networking and with a diverse group of companies for full-time jobs, part-time jobs and internships who have a special interest in creating an inclusive and diverse workplace. This cocktail mixer is open to all majors and industry interests.

How are employers chosen to attend the Inclusivity Mixer?

Employers submit an application to the University Career Center. Their application is then reviewed along with their standing on diversity workplace rankings (HRC Equality Index, Diversity, INC., etc.), and a variety of other areas are reviewed to ensure their commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Is there a dress code?

The event requires professional dress. If you have questions about dressing or need assistance with acquiring clothing please email mkfrench@uncc.edu for assistance.

Should I bring a resume?

Yes! This is a great way to network and meet employers for jobs and internships.

Are alumni welcome to attend?

Yes! Alumni are encouraged to attend this event and all other Career Center events for life!
